Barefoot Resort & Golf is a favorite destination for golfers of all level of abilities – and non-golfers, as well. One of the top draws in the Myrtle Beach, South Carolina area, Barefoot Resort is home to four spectacular golf courses: the Fazio course, the Love course, the Norman course, and the Dye course. Since its opening in 2000, Barefoot Resort and Golf’s Fazio course has lured golfers onto its fairways from all around the globe. The aptly named Fazio course was designed by top-ranked golf course architect, Tom Fazio. As a par 71 golf course, the Fazio course gives golfers the chance to excel as they strive to hit their mark from one of five sets of tees at each hole. The yardage is as diverse as the course itself, ranging from 4,820 yards to 6,834 yards.
The Fazio course at Barefoot Resort and Golf is absolutely stunning. There is water everywhere – pristine lakes and tranquil ponds abound. The fairways are lined with stately oak trees, natural grasses, and challenging bunkers. Uniquely shaped sand traps are placed throughout the course – pushing golfers to work on hitting accurate shots each time. Deceptive hills, striking natural areas, and vast waste areas are all encountered on the Fazio course. A rare opportunity is given to golfers on one of the holes – a choice between two greens. Consequently, golfers can mix it up or master one green at a time.
Barefoot Resort and Golf – and - the Fazio course can be found in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Myrtle Beach has miles of beautiful sandy beaches, fun-filled ocean waves, boating, fishing, and plenty of sunshine. It is truly the perfect vacation destination for families. Besides great golf, visitors can walk on the pier and the boardwalk, spend the day fishing, and check out any of the hip nightlife spots.
